The Company has grown organically to become the UK's largest independent manufacturer of insecticides, weedkillers, other pesticides, fertilisers and garden products sold nationally through garden centres, independent DIY retailers and large retail multiples. Continuous investment in product development and quality has contributed to Doff's position as one of Europe's largest producers of premium slug killer pellets. In addition, Doff provides extensive contract formulating and packing opportunities for third parties.

Doff Portland is committed to maintaining its role as a major employer in it's local town, and has now consolidated all the business activities of the Company on to one site on the outskirts of Hucknall.

With the ever increasing popularity of gardening, there is greater demand for new product innovation.  In response the Company has introduced a variety of new products and additional pack sizes to its diverse range for the 2008 season. The whole of the Doff range has also been re-designed.
